Our Processes

We are big believers in processes. Establishing them. Following them. Tweaking them as needed to ensure the highest quality products are all we deliver. For example:

  • We train every employee to have an eagle eye for detail and an obsession over quality.
  • We source our raw material from the top 5 harvesters.
  • We make sure our raw materials are as fresh as humanly possible. Micro testing and quality testing start before any raw material even enters our doors.
  • We follow industry best practices. In many cases, we’re the ones establishing them.
  • We employ slow, methodically programmed heat, which takes 15-18 hours, to ensure nutrition and safety. We never, ever rush this.
  • Heat, vacuum and refrigerant are in cahoots to achieve the level of quality and nutrition 18 Below stands for.
  • We make full diets in small or large batches. We add vitamins, vegetables and other requested ingredients.
  • From bringing raw materials in to shipping quality products out, everything’s done under one roof. We have complete control from start to finish. Yep, we’re control freaks—in the best possible way.
  • To paraphrase, we are farm to shelf.
  • We never rest. We’re always improving.
